THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US
As a specialist in the unit for preparedness and cooperation, you will have a central role in the Riksbank's work to ensure that the public can make payments during peacetime crisis situations and in heightened readiness. You will also work to ensure that the Riksbank can maintain its own critical operations in all situations.
The work in the payment area primarily involves analyzing risks and vulnerabilities and identifying and implementing measures required to strengthen resilience. The unit is also responsible for the Riksbank's regulations within the preparedness area. The work is conducted in close cooperation with the companies deemed particularly important for maintaining payment capacity in Sweden, as well as with authorities in the financial services preparedness sector. The work to strengthen the Riksbank's own preparedness includes leading, coordinating, and supporting the capability-enhancing development work in various ways. You are also expected to handle emerging tasks and produce materials requested in various issues within the area of civil preparedness.
YOUR TEAM
The Riksbank consists of nine departments. The unit for preparedness and cooperation (EBS) belongs to the department for internal governance and operational support (AIS) and consists of twelve employees. Here you can read more about the Riksbank's organization.
The unit is responsible for leading and coordinating the Riksbank's work to ensure that the public can make payments during peacetime crisis situations and in heightened readiness. The unit is also responsible for the Riksbank's internal planning and preparations within civil preparedness. The work is conducted together with other departments within the bank and in cooperation with both authorities and private actors. The unit also plays a central role in crisis management within the payment area through the coordination and information-sharing leadership function that the Riksbank leads.
MORE ABOUT YOU
You have a relevant university degree, for example in economics, political science, or law. We are looking for someone with experience in crisis preparedness, either civil or military defense. It is particularly meritorious if you have experience in the payment area with a good understanding of how the payment system in Sweden is structured. Additionally, experience in incident or crisis management, as well as experience in leading processes that require high levels of coordination and involve multiple parts of the organization, is meritorious.
You are a stable and mature person who works in a structured manner and is skilled at presenting and communicating your message. You are used to independently driving your tasks forward, both individually and together with others, and take responsibility for contributing to the unit's long-term goals. You are meticulous in your work, have problem-solving analytical skills, and are stimulated by collaboration with others. Great importance will be placed on personal qualities.

Employment type: Permanent employment where a probationary period may apply
Location: Head office Brunkebergstorg Stockholm
Working hours: Trust-based working hours
Possibility to work remotely: 1 or 2 days a week

The position may be classified in a security class, and a security check including a background check, security interview, and special personal investigation will be conducted for the final candidate. For certain positions, Swedish citizenship is required.
